Vogel The Natural Snow, Ski Resort:

Mt Vogel (1922m) is the first mountain barrier above the Adriatic Sea, so more snow tends to falls here than anywhere else of similar altitude in the Alps. It is a high mountain setting and there are extraordinary panoramas over the surrounding area. The resort lies in Triglav National Park above Lake Bohinj, giving Vogel a special attraction. There are well-groomed trails suitable for all abilities. In good conditions there is excellent off-piste skiing

The views of the high mountain ranges surrounding the resort give Vogel a very special charm. In spite of the magnificent nature, the skiing slopes are not very demanding but are excellently prepared.
The Vogel Ski Resort offers quality ski and snowboard instructions, ski and snowboard rentals, a snow kindergarten, a snow park covering 2 h.a. with a variety of obstacles and jumps, ski touring on virgin snow with a guide and the adrenalin tandem paraglide flights to the valley below. There is also a wide variety of restaurants to suit every taste, and entertainment and games. The children’s park is located right at the exit of the upper cable car station. Children have two conveyors (60m and 20 m) and the carousel, which is especially suitable for children for the first time on skis. And for those who don’t like to ski can ride on the carousel of tubes. Even the parents are provided for, you can watch your child from the terrace bars, which is located at the upper station of the cable car. Skiing in the children’s park is free!Ski Facts:

Krvavec

Krvavec is an impressive, mainly intermediate ski resort near Kranj and Ljubljana with between 1,450m and 1,971m of altitude, from three distinct summits. During the ski season, the snow at Krvavec is guaranteed for 100 days. The skiing extends across 106 hectares, 56 hectares of which has been converted into ski-slopes with a combined length of around 35 km. On 90% of the ski-slopes and on the cross-country ski-course at Krvavec, natural snow is backed up by artificial snow if needed
